Property Tax Bills

The Town of Windsor sends out two property tax bills a year (an Interim Bill and a Final Bill).  Please note that the Interim Bill is due by May 31st of each year and the Final Bill is due by September 30th of each year.

Water Bills

Water bills are invoiced quarterly and you will now find a sewer rate charge on your water bill.  Please note, this charge used to be included in the property tax rate but is now reflected on your water bill because it is based on water consumption.

Please note, for public transportation between Windsor and various locations in the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), service is provided by Acadian Bus
The bus stop location for Windsor is located in Falmouth at the "Falmouth Circle K (Irving)", a 5 minute walk to Windsor's downtown core.

Dog Tags & Animal Control

Did you know that if you own a dog in the Town of Windsor, you must purchase a dog tag at the Town Office, 100 King Street, Windsor, NS. 
The prices are as follows:
Spayed/Neutered      $10.00
Not spayed/neutered $14.00
